US slaps anti-Russian sanctions on 3 oil tankers, at least 14 firms

WASHINGTON, Nov 16 (PRIME) -- Washington has imposed anti-Russian sanctions on three oil tankers and at least 14 companies, the U.S. Department of the Treasury said in a statement on Thursday.

The sanction lists were expanded by oil tankers Kazan, Ligovsky Prospect, and NS Century.

The companies include shipping company Progress and VNIIR Transstroi, VNIIR Promelektro, and VNIIR Gidroelektroavtomatika – the companies connected to the All-Russian Scientific Research Design and Technological Institution of Relay Engineering with Experimental Production.
